105.1 The Bounce announces new on-air talent

etroit's new throwback Hip Hop and R&B station 105.1 The Bounce has been gaining popularity throughout Metro Detroit since July, launching with playing 10,000 throwbacks in a row nonstop. Now The Bounce is adding some new voices to the air with the announcement of four new "Bounce Ambassadors," hosting shows throughout the week.

 “We’re proud to announce our first wave of Bounce ‘Ambassadors’, who are responsible for navigating nearly a million Detroit Throwback Hip Hop and R&B fans through their time they spend with us,” Program Director Al Payne says.

New host Suga Rae, a Detroit native and alum of Wayne State University and Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, will host her show “Suga’s Bounce House” Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Michigan native and Eastern Michigan University alum DJ Dinero, got his start DJing at clubs and concert venues, and will be mixing live on air for 105 commercial free minutes Monday-Friday starting at 7:10 a.m., then again at 12:10 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.

Chicago native Gello brings “The GELLO Show,” to Detroit from Phoenix, Arizona, and it will air Monday-Saturday, 3 p.m.-7 p.m.

Longtime radio personality and Reggie Reg Davis’ show “Bouncin’ for the City” will air on Sundays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
