July 15-17, Heritage Works will host a series of community-focused events and educational experiences during the African World Festival.

We’re smack dab in the middle of summer fun and want to make sure to include Heritage Works Village Circle of summer events. From the African World Festival‘s day of food and dance to the special partnership with DPSCD and Special Olympics, Heritage Works Village Circle has you covered. With sensory-friendly activities accessible for all children and their families, these events are inclusive of everyone.

Truly committed to nurturing the talents of Detroiters, Heritage Works is a nonprofit with the mission to promote youth, family and community development through cultural events, arts and educationally programs. Utilizing the expansive reach of The African World Festival and the thousands of residents that participate, Heritage Works invites you and your family to join in the summer fun.
