The North American International Auto Show Returns with Career Opportunities in Tow

The "Motor City" moniker will always be a vital part of Detroit's DNA. With that foundation, every January, the North American International Auto Show brings forth the industry's very best. You'll see the hottest designs on wheels, as well as breakout technologies-and a few new features, too.

"We're hosting what we're calling FACE," aka the Future Automotive Career Exposition, says show PR manager Max Muncey. "Companies will be posting jobs on an online portal that you can access on our website. Interested candidates can attach a resume, look at available jobs and then … come down that Saturday or Sunday and interact with these companies face-to-face."

Participants also can explore virtual reality demonstrations and autonomous driving simulators, plus online platforms for mobile phones that connect to the cars in futuristic ways.

It's something that everybody should be proud of – to have such an international icon in Detroit every year (that's) making such a significant impact on the region," Muncey says.
