Join Detroit Narrative Agency (DNA) and Cinema Detroit virtually Thursday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. EDT, to watch the final installment of the 2021 Ethics & Aesthetics series: The Bodies We Belong To: Breaking & Transforming Patterns. These films spotlight the disruption of oppression in its many forms. 

Each film presents opposition to harmful structures, whether it’s racism, misogyny, homophobia, and ageism in the U.S., centuries-old oppression under the caste system in India, or the race-based apartheid in South Africa. as their protagonists reimagine and recreate the world, refusing to accept their pre-ordained fates.
