Chrissy Teigen, widely known for her extensive modeling career and numerous TV and film credits, is signed with IMG Models.

In the same announcement, she mentioned her fertility journey. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce,’” she wrote. “but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.” She continued to describe how her doctor appointments felt. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.” With the substantial baby bump suggests, she is far into the pregnancy, and has managed to keep it under wraps.

“Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”

The comments on her post were largely filled with support, especially in light of her pregnancy loss two years ago. “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” her Instagram post reads announcing the loss of their child shortly after labor. Further details suggested that the loss was a stillbirth, “We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.” The post was accompanied by five black and white photos: one shows the Teigen and Legend in tears mourning their loss as they both snuggle up with their stillborn son.
