The Clark Sisters

Dorinda Clark Cole is an iconic gospel singer, songwriter, and minister. She is best known as a member of the acclaimed gospel group The Clark Sisters. In addition to her work with The Clark Sisters, Dorinda has released several solo albums and has written songs for other artists including Whitney Houston and Yolanda Adams. As a solo artist, Dorinda has won multiple awards including a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance and an NAACP Image Award. In addition to her musical career, Dorinda is also a ordained minister and has been involved in various philanthropic endeavors.

Musical Family

Dorinda was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 11, 1957. She is the second child of Gospel music legends Mattie Moss Clark and Elbert Clark. Growing up in a musical family, Dorinda began singing at an early age and by her teenage years she was already performing with her sisters as The Clark Sisters. The group went on to have a successful career, releasing numerous albums and touring the world.

In addition to her work with The Clark Sisters, Dorinda has also released several solo albums. Her most recent album, Take It Back, was released in 2016. She has also been involved in various philanthropic endeavors, including working with the Carter Center to help fight against Guinea worm disease.

Dorinda is a Grammy-nominated artist and has received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. She is a respected figure in the Gospel music community and is known for her powerful vocal performances.
