Hey Fam It’s Cooking with Que for BLAC Detroit Magazine and this week we have a classic mexican dish called a Tostada. The recipe is super easy ..like literally the easiest….and as I always say… these recipes are living and can be adjusted to your liking. Great for a Taco Tuesday or any day you have a strong craving for mexican food! This tostada recipe is straight fire!

The Easiest Tostada Recipe Ever
Equipment
- Baking Sheet
- Nonstick Spray
Ingredients
- 6 count Tostadas
- 1 cup Cooked black beans (1 no salt added can)
- 1 cup Sweet corn
- 1/4 cup Diced red onions
- 1/4 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Chorizo (vegan trader joes is amazing)
- 1 cup Cheese ( any dairy free will do)
- 1 jar Avocado Salsa or Salsa (whatever floats your boat)
- 1 bundle Cilantro
Instructions
- On a baking Sheet place 3 tostada shells down
- On top of the 3 tostada shells spread a layer of black beans, 2 tablespoons
- Top the black beans with another tostada
- Top the second tostada with Chorizo
- Add corn and then tomatoes
- Top with cheese
- Bake in the oven for 7-8 minutes
- Take out of the oven and top them with avocado salsa and fresh cilantro
- Plate and enjoy
