Suspect Wanted in Sexual Assault Case

The Detroit Police Department has released a sketch of a suspect wanted for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl and asks the community to help identify him.

On Wednesday, June 5, around 7:30 a.m., the suspect forced the teen, walking on the Jeffries Freeway (I-96) Service Drive and Pacific, into an alley.  After sexually assaulting her, he drove off  in a light blue, 4-door Ford Taurus. 

The suspect is a black male, around the age of 25, 5’-11″, has a medium build, light complexion, trimmed mustache and goatee, wearing a baseball cap with an “Old English D”, and a dark blue Tigers jacket. The suspect also has a silver stud earring in the left ear and wearing gold Cartier eye glasses.

Anyone with information on this crime can call the Sex Crimes unit 313-596-1950 and also Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-2587. They can also relate what they know via texting to CRIMES (274637).
