Bamboo Detroit

Bamboo Detroit provides a space to work and connect with the entrepreneurial community. It has two locations – one in Detroit and Royal Oak – that offer the same great perks for its members or those just dropping in for the day.

You’ll love the bright office rooms full of natural light. It’s a modern space with shared offices and private offices available. The staff is extremely helpful in providing resources to business owners and startups.

SpaceLab Detroit

Grab a day pass to work at SpaceLab Detroit. It’s a professional workspace located downtown with a model designed for flexible and remote workers. It’s a black-owned co-working space that welcomes workers from all industries.

Whether you’re working remotely for your job or starting a new business venture, SpaceLab has an impressive range of amenities to support both. It’s a comfortable space to enjoy working in the shared areas or grab one of the private meeting rooms to take your Zoom meeting calls.

Members have 24-hr access to Spacelab. In addition, it frequently hosts events for community building and networking.

Venture X

Venture X is one of the most stylish co-working spaces in the heart of Detroit’s financial district. The industrial-style ceilings and large windows with views of Detroit give the perfect space to get some work done. It will be one of your best days out of your home office, and surely coming back for another session.

The space is designed for productivity with a quiet atmosphere and bright lights. It has an open floor plan for shared desk space or rent a full-furnished office. It has flexible rates for daily or monthly use. There are also event spaces to accommodate up to 100 people.

WeWork Detroit

WeWork is definitely a familiar name on your radar if you’ve considered co-working spaces. It’s one of the largest companies providing a network of workspaces globally. In fact, it has three locations in Detroit! Its most popular location is at Campus Martius, but the others are excellent alternatives.

The benefit of being a WeWork member is access to any one of its co-working spaces. It’s common to see people from out of town working temporarily from the Detroit spaces. It also offers daily rates for the shared working space and offices.

You can’t beat the amenities offered by WeWork. It gives the perfect work-life balance between desks for working and common areas to relax on break.

Hunt Street Station

You’ll be surprised how productive you’ll be when you work at Hunt Street Station. It’s one of the unique co-working spaces in Detroit established in a former police station. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places but delivers a modern-day working environment.

The exterior of Hunt Street Station maintains a lot of its historical appearance. But as soon as you step inside, you’ll see the extensive renovations to transform it into an amazing co-working space. It has an open floor plan with lots of seating. It also offers private offices.

The office hosts a range of personalities, including working professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

TechTown Detroit

Grab a few local coworkers and head over to TechTown Detroit. It’s the perfect collaborative workspace in Detroit. It’s a place that welcomes creativity and encourages innovation.

TechTown Detroit is located on the Wayne State Campus. For over two years, its supported tech startups and entrepreneurs in the city. It’s grown into a bustling community of professionals and business owners, so there’s always someone to bounce ideas off of.

The community members get lots of support from TechTown – it has resources available and an incubator program.

If you sign up to be a member, you have full access to the co-working spaces, amenities.

Strategic Community Partners

Strategic Community Partners is a community-driven organization that provides co-working space inside of its community center. It’s a black-owned co-working space with the goal of providing resources to marginalized areas. Supporting the co-working space is a way of supporting the development of the community.

Strategic Community Partners is reserved for members to ensure you have the space that you need to work. It has a floating co-working space with open tables – membership gives access to two people in your organization.

It’s an excellent place to conduct important meetings or events. It has conference rooms available and event space for up to 40 people.

Detroit is one of three locations for the Strategic Community Partners organization.

CoOP Exchange

When it comes to amenities, CoOP Exchange ranks among the top co-working spaces. It’s located in the Crown Pointe Plaza in Oak Park, with co-working space and private offices available.

CoOP Exchange is an excellent setting to take a break from your home office. It has a friendly staff helpful to ensure that you have a productive day. Even if you’re only visiting for a day, you’ll still have access to the fax machine, printer, copier, and other content creation equipment.

Putting in a long day or work? Well, CoOP Exchange is open 24-hrs if you have a private office, so feel free to pull an all-nighter working on a big project.
